1 install complete it December - £50 transferred. 3 more commenced to be completed in January.
Warning of a rogue company using a similar name, preying on vulnerable. Shared info with local groups. Action: Kate to share with LCN Officer for PCs.
Church solar – letter received from Historic England, not likely to be approved on slope of roof. Flat section needs repair to lead. Mike Gelder exploring quotes for replacing that section of roof.
Water butt project – application to WPC and WPCC, awaiting responses.
Cavanna Housing – developer. SM and Dave Kirley met with the housing developer. Cavanna gave the same presentation as the public meeting. Steve then questioned various aspects of the proposed development such as level of Biodiversity Net Gain, lack of adaptation aspects such as overheating, green building standards, flooding issues and street lighting. Discussion also took place about the village in general such as orchards and cider making. No indication of any support was given.
Swift project – Geoff has scoped suitable sites. Article going into IOWN asking for residents to site boxes. Some sites already confirmed. Share on FB – Action: GC to share with VBH. Build likely to be in Jan/Feb by the Mens Shed.

As 01 December 2025 balance of £3679.18
Since 3 November, income of £87.00 made up from cook books, private donations and Sunlit solar. Less bank charges of £2.20.
£72.40 allocated to the Theale butterfly corridor, £750 for the water butt project.
Post 01 December received £50 from Sunlit solar.

21 & 22 January - Warm in Wedmore Lisa & Anthony offered a soup. Advise David Hopkins if you can help.
Repair Café – 11 April VH booked. Publicity to be arranged.
Freecycle – 26 April. Publicity to be arranged. Steve asked PC to use main car park.
AOB:
Sue Rippon is spearheading project for 20mph. IOW News article coming in Jan. https://savewedmorelives.org.uk/ Looking for supporters and people to complete a survey. Agreed to share on mail out to GW newsletter subscribers. Green Wedmore in support of this campaign.
Anthony asked Sue to raise improved bus stop in the village.
