Updates on activities and actions:

• Talking to the scouts and school about the Eco Quilt

• Looking to update the leaflets

• Solar church - 8th April PCC meeting, Mike Rogers and SM attending.

• 108 solar installations complete for the Solar 1000 challenge

• Wedmore Village Farm

  • AGM 26th March. Midsummer Night’s Dream play will be on 21 June tickets on sale soon. Lots of jobs to be done at the farm and they can always use more volunteers.

  • Kid’s Festival planned for 24 May.

LCN Climate and Nature sub-group is established and held its first meeting. Not as well attended as would like. Next one will include a talk on bio-diversity net gain. Agreed terms of reference.

Kate attended Axe Vale Climate Action Group. Green Fair 05 May at Ad Astra.

30 bird boxes up in Badgworth.

Anthony attended a Community Climate Event in Bridgwater. Some interesting speakers. Lesley Gates (saving money/home/food ideas), Becky Green at Healthy Food, Eat Carey, and Jen Gale at Sustainablish
