Worthington Woods Work party this Sunday (13th) at 8am to avoid the heat
- it was noted it may be possible/space to plant a few more nut trees
Terry’s Woods work party in the autumn, got some brambles to tackle. Bring
brush cutters and long gloves. Date tbc

Solar 1000: 111 installs!
Solar St Mary’s : going for a pre-application to start engagement with Somerset
Council. Collaboration between the PCC, Sunlit Solar and GW.

Parish Council Environmental & Nature group has had its first meeting, minutes
to follow, and we hope for future engagement and collaboration.
Local Nature Recovery Strategy. A blueprint for improving nature. Out for public consultation in August/September.
Movies! The Climates is a Frome Climate Film Festival/awards
- There’s a possibility of short climate films on tour around the county.
  Perhaps in the village hall or to join up with Theale film group.
- The Ocean film was mentioned, still in cinemas
We’re 20 next year! We must celebrate. Ideas welcome!
CAG have a grant available, could get some water butts. Discussion around
talking to Wedmore in Bloom about what they could do. BJ to ask contact about who is the chair.
Russell is a rep for the Cheddar & Axbridge Active Travel group. They want to map all the active travel in routes, and aspirational routes. Suggestion to connect with Sheila M who runs the walking group.
Ben is sadly going to step down as Vice Chair, due to family and church
commitments.

The climate quilt is going to Birmingham! For a festival of quilts.
