Updates
Repair Café – thanks to Mike R and Liz. A busy morning with 38 people attending with items to be repaired/sharpened. Fixy van was busy too, with 155kgs total weight donated and 130+ items including: 64 phones, 24 laptops, 11 tablets, 100 conversations. Proposed another date in Spring. Some signage for the café suggested.
Sunlit Solar Update – We are now over 100 installs! By the end of next month we should have installed 700kw of Solar in the village, this is equivalent to:
Powering 2887 light bulbs
379 tons of CO2 Savings
Planting 8837 trees
Taking 70 cars off the road
This month Mike has met with the church wardens at St Mary’s to provide some advice and put together a plan of action for the church.

AOB
Geoff and Vanessa busy with eel project. Please all sign the petition to prevent eels being exported to Russia: petition. This has been gaining a lot of traction since the Guardian published an article.
Geoff raised that water surveys have recently been carried out locally – phosphate levels 14 times higher than permitted. Big issue – perhaps another conversation at another meeting.
Kate mentioned the Local Community Network – Cheddar & Axbridge, where interested groups and PCs work together. They recently had a presentation on climate and nature. Kate and Steve are working to set up a sub-group, working on objectives. 10 parishes, working together and sharing best practice. Looking to start up in January.
